The Laetare of Stavelot, a famous carnival featuring the iconic Blancs-Moussis, will take place this year from March 29 to 31, 2025.

• The festivities will begin on Saturday evening with a humorous and luminous night parade, followed by a costume ball at the abbey.
• On Sunday afternoon, the grand parade will gather around 2,500 participants, including more than 400 Blancs-Moussis, marching through the town.
• The day will end with a spectacular fireworks display and the "White Night of the Blancs-Moussis" in the abbey’s cellars.
• Monday afternoon will be dedicated to musical and folk entertainment.

The Cwarmê of Malmedy is a traditional Walloon carnival dating back to 1459. Over four days of festivities, it features emblematic characters like the Haguète, Sotê, and Longuès-Brèsses. The event is known for its costumed parade, satirical performances, and the final cremation of the Haguète, closing the celebrations in a unique folkloric atmosphere.
